Libertatea is the daily newspaper issued in tabloid format which offers an attractive combination of information from all domains being dedicated to the people who want to read short and precise news. Libertatea is very well structured, has high-impact titles and representative illustrations.
Liberatea was launched in the early 1990 and was purchased by Ringier Romania in July 1994 as a local daily newspaper for Bucharest. In 1996 Ringier re-launched Libertatea as a national daily tabloid. In May 2001 it became no.1 among national dailies both from sales and audience point of view. Libertatea was the first full color newspaper (November 2001).
With an average print run of over 250.000 copies and an audience of over 1.000.000 readers every day, Libertatea is the absolute market leader.
On Fridays Libertatea is distributed together with its free supplement Libertatea Weekend.
Libertatea Sunday has content for the whole family. Since the launch, the Newspaper is the number one Sunday publication in sold circulation and readership.
