Launch of the first free reference daily Compact in Bucharest in line with the European trend of free dailies targeted towards a young, dynamic public that is not yet a regular newspapers reader.

- ProSport (the brand, the team and all the related assets) goes back to Publimedia; the acquisition contract is signed by the two parties in November and the effective transfer is to take place by mid January 2008.
- The Ringier Group decides to step out of the TV guides segment. As a result TV Mania and TV Satelit become the property of Bauer Media, continuing however to be managed by Ringier Romania.

| 2010 | - In the context of the international economic downturn and the extremely tough context, especially for media, Ringier decides to separate from Evenimentul zilei and Capital which were purchased by "Editura Evenimentul zilei and Capital" whose major shareholder is Bobby Paunescu.
